Atlantis is 'go' for launch.

Atlantis lifted-off on time.  I watched it through binoculars at first; then the naked eye.  I had vowed not to take any pictures, but couldn't resist a couple seconds in to flight.  I got a couple good ones with my regular camera.  The things the struck me most were the color of the exhaust and how quickly it went by.  The color was this umreal, almost neon Orange, not something you would find in nature.  The shuttle disappeared into the the could just after I took my last picture.

  3. That's a great picture. I got to the the shuttle waiting on the launch pad the night before the launch. I was quite a sight all lit up in the darkness, almost as grand as the launch itself.
