After leaving Mount Rushmore, I didn't intend to make any more serious stops, but the Crazy Horse Memorial was on my way so I pulled in to investigate. The site is much more extensive than the roadside pullout I anticipated. I hesitantly paid my admission. I didn't have time to take full advantage of the offerings, buteft with a much better idea of the project's history & mission.
